Well that was an eye opener! I borrowed a dual axle cargo trailer from work last night, dropped off a bunch of furniture from storage to a yard sale for today. No WDH, no need, a couple thousand pounds is no big deal, certainly below the 3500 lb "must have brakes" threshold.
We repositioned our travel trailer today to make it easier to access certain things during the remodel. For a total movement of less than 100 ft there was no need for the Husky hitch, I just grabbed a 2" drop hitch and hooked up.
The squat was even more than I expected, it is REALLY obvious in this picture.
Hope that clarifies for people, the imperative to use a WDH for safe towing is valid.
