What options are there tire wise for using the stock wheels?

I was looking at 34' KO2's and they note 8.5-10" wheels.

What's the real world options on the stock wheels for the Overland? or is it just one those flat out plan on replacing the wheels as well?

A 285/75-18 is a 35" tire and should work with the 7.5" width. I'm running a 285/75-17 on my Max Tow.

Im running 285/75R18 Falken Wildpeaks and its actually a pretty good ride. A lot better then the squishy stock tires that came with the overland. Also their very quiet. I do have a 2.5" leveling kit.

I can't find the other thread where people have pics of their Overland with the stock wheels but tires more like what the Rubicon stock tires were (Falken A/T Wildpeak, etc. etc.)
Is what's on your truck basically the same exact tire the JT Rubicon comes with - but for an 18" rim?

I'm seriously looking at putting Falken tires on my Overland rims and selling the Rubicon take-offs I have, even selling the stock Overland tires. I have a 5th Overland rim so would need 5 tires.
Dang, I need to keep looking for that other thread.............

Here is a comparison for the stock rubicon ATs and the 18” tire he has. About two inches difference between the two.

I have 285/75r17 wildpeak ATs (the in the middle of the two being compared) and I like them a ton. Look great and quiet.

Edit: one thing I like about these wildpeaks is they aren’t too wide, and can fit on a stock 7.5” rim. I like that “tucked” taller look versus a lot of tire sticking out.

We crossed paths/messages......... I just posted a question laying out that I'm trying to match the exact size that the Rubicon Falken tires are, but for 18" rims. I don't want wider or taller than the stock Rubicon Falken tires (11" wide -I THINK, and 32.8" tall)

These caught my attention, mostly due to the price. Sam's Club is showing them in my browser for $135.88 each. https://www.samsclub.com/p/255-70r18-113t-adven-60000/prod22451587?xid=plp_product_1

I personally want a more aggressive tire without the added weight. I had a set of Rubicon take offs with the Wildpeaks and it looked awesome...but the weight difference between the Overland setup and the Rubicon set up was substantial. My gas mileage on the Rubicon set up was around 17 mpg. With the Overland set up 22 mpg. I know I know...Jeepers don't care about mpg...but I do. lol

I went the Rubicon take offs on my overland as well. Rides is worse but looks good. It really sucks that most tires are Load E in 18" wheels. Almost no 34" or 35" that are load C
