Got the winch installed, first mod complete! Only other mod planned is to install the brake controller I also pulled out of my JL.

Another good thing about a roof rack...….something easy to grab the hard top with and place it on the Jeep...….just wheeled the top over next to Jeep, lifted it off the Top Lift Pro, and was able(while standing in the bed) to lift and fit it right on...easy peasy!

It's a superwinch ts9500 with synthetic rope. I had it on my JL and took it off before trading it in.

Yeah JL specific Borah wheels tuck under a lot more , so mine stick out some but not bad.

This weekend! Will be towing it about 2 hours away, including going through the shenandoahs. I towed it with my JLUR without issue, so I don't expect there will be any drama. I've got a good WD hitch with sway damper and electronic brakes.
