I have to agree, the Dueler H/T's were just nasty, although I didn't experience any untoward vibrations.I've never liked the Bridgestones that came with my Gladiator. They were terrible in the rain - stopping, turning and taking off on slick roads. They also had some sort of "force induced vibration" at highway speeds that came and went despite rebalancing.
When they spun just trying to accelerate uphill in the rain, they had to go!
I replaced them with the Dueler A/T's and it was a vast improvement. The A/T's were still quiet and got good fuel economy, without sacrificing traction.
I'm now running a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3's, which are a LT tire. While I like the traction, the ride & economy both suffer due to the stiffer sidewall.
