Mods please note (and, everyone else) this is *NOT* a sales post, if I get to that point, I'll post down in the market, at the moment, I'm researching!

Removed my back seats almost two years ago to put in a storage system, and I'm tired of them sucking up space in my basement. Is there ANY market whatsoever for a set of almost new, barely used, back seats from a Gladiator? Or would I be better of putting them on a freecycle listing or just hauling them to a dump or something?

My other option to get them out of the basement, I'm not a fan of, because it will cost me money, and that's getting a storage locker to put them and some other stuff that's currently in the garage in. Obviously for reasons of saving the money so I can buy more neat stuff for my Jeep, I'd like to avoid that option...

Take some pitchers and list them for sale. Iam sure someone could use them. Facebook marketplace too. Then you will truly know if there is a market for them.

It's probably a pretty small market.

If leather and priced right, maybe someone will want for a cheaper upgrade to leather.

If you'll ever sell your JT, I think you'll want the rear seat to go with it. Most people want that rear seat.

That's what I'm thinking too, especially considering they're the cloth seats, not leather...

I am planning to keep the Jeep at this point until either it dies, or I just can't drive anymore, although of course, plans are subject to change...

In almost every vehicle out there, the market for any OEM seat is generally very small.

I currently have seats for my beater mini van stored. Previously I have removed and stored 3rd row seat for a Suburban, rear seat for extended cab Ford pickup, knowing those vehicles would eventually be traded.

You will take a big hit on trade-in/resale for not having all the seats.

If the seller had responded to my messages, I would have drove 5 hours for a full set of leather seats.

I haven't had the back seat for my LJ for years. My JT right side is currently in a "sofa" configuration in my cabin. Mounted on 2x12s :like: it's actually comfortable to set in there.

You would have a better shot of removing the seat skins, and trashing the rest. The seat skins would sell better than the whole seat. People are not going to buy the whole seat but may need a seat skin to replace a damaged one. And easier to ship. Just my two cents.
