What is under the back seat of a Sport S? My understanding is a locking under seat box is an option, if you don't have that option, is it just a non locking box?
Thanks

That box is part of the optional trail rail system. Can’t get that option on the base Sport model truck. Can only order it on Sport S, Overland and Rubicon models.

I am very happy with my no lid tub. I can store a lot of gear in there. Sure I don't store anything I don't want stolen with the doors off but there is good amount of room for hoodies, blankets and stuff.

Yeah, I use the crap out of mine too. I'm waiting to see if an aftermarket option comes around that is better though.

Yep, I love it. Mine has tools, tie downs, beef jerky, bottled water, sunscreen, a long sleeved t-shirt, and a ball cap. All the things you might need...

I have been thinking about my no lock lidless box. Really the seats are the lid. I don't think it would be too difficult to fix up a locking latch system that mounts to the seat. Yeah, it someone wants to get in bad enough they will but it should stop casual opportunists.

At least on my SPORT-S, the seats lock. The key hole is near the head-rest and once locked, prevents the seats from being opened up/lifted/folded down.

On my Sport S only the backs lock. The seat bottoms do not.

I plan on pulling the box out. I've got two car seats that prevent lifting the seats.

Better for me to use that area as a place to stuff junk.
