I did a pretty fair search and haven't come up with the info I was looking for..........
Differences between the standard/stock Rubicon wheel and the launch edition wheel -
materials (are Rubicon wheels Steel, aluminum, combination), weight capacity, width (both 17 I realize)
And how do they compare size-wise to the Overland wheel in weight capacity, width, etc.
I believe the "offset" is the same on all, about 44.45 or so.
I realize he standard Rubicon wheels are cast aluminum as the offset and other numbers are cast into the back side.
What about the LE

When looking for 17" wheels and A/T tires, wanting to make sure I know about the wheel differences.

I spent some time searching here but wasn't able to find the info.

The launch edition wheels are the same specs as the other wheels, 17x7.5 with the same offset and backspacing. They are the same wheels as the JLUS Moab edition or Rubicon wheel, just painted black. They are referred to as the flower wheel.

Interesting info - thanks. I thought i heard or read someone calling them steel wheels - I thought they were all cast (or forged, actually, many aluminum wheels are cold forged at about 900 degrees)
Are they steel or aluminum wheels?

Rubicon Launch Edition wheels are different than Moab wheels. Different spokes and design.

All JT wheels are alloy, with the exception of the very base model Sport which are steel. All alloy wheels are 7.5" width and +44.45 offset.

The load rating is "proprietary or not known" according to FCA customer service.

That's where I got the steel wheel thought then - the base Sport. I knew there was a steel wheel in there somewhere.
Thanks

I thought the LE wheels were the same as the other wheels, they are very close. They look very close to the upgraded Rubicon wheel in gloss black.

They are similar, but not identical. Look at the casting of the center spokes.

I thought it was the same wheel also until I bought a set of Moab take-offs. They're similar.

Holy cow - that took you 2 or 3 minutes I bet.
Good. I have been seeing that I am not the only one who has wondered and wanted to see the differences. It came up in another area this week where someone wondered if wheels shown were LE or whatever....
Great having it all in one place.
