Where are you running your on board air in the diesel?

The popular spots for air compressors like under the brake booster are not available in the diesel. What compressor are you running and where are you running your set-up?

I'm interested in either a Viair or ARB set-up that is preferably mounted in the cab but I'm not super in love with the idea of losing cargo space either. Is anyone running a portable compressor that can air up a 37?

Inside the cab is ideal. About 20 years ago I had a s-10 on air bags. Compressor would freeze over the moisture in the winter so add a water separator also

I run the entire air system that airs up and down my 37's with no problem. Not as fast as my portable Power Tank but much more convenient than having to find a place to fill the tank while traveling.

Wiring was a piece of cake and noise is tolerable for those that choose to stay in the vehicle while airing back up.

Sweet! Which mounting bracket are you using?

I would likely rather lose the space under the passenger seat than the back seat due to access restrictions with passengers, pets, etc.

Looks like I'll likely end up with the passenger seat setup.

Power tank all the way, 37’s in under thirty seconds, air tools, and take it with you with your primary vehicles.
Unless you’re on a two week trip airing down every day you are fine on a 10lb bottle

“+” = I had a 10 and 15lb tanks. Worked great.
“-“ = finding locations to refill can be a pita. The tank needs to be empty or nearly empty for most locations to offer a refill. I can’t remember the interval, but at around 2 years they have to do what they call a float test on the tank, which they have to send it off to do. The aesthetic condition of the tank couldn’t be guaranteed by the time you get it back.
Result, been there done that. New rig has a 100% duty cycle onboard air system installed.
