I got this with the took kit when I left the dealer. Been over a week and I can't figure it out! Lol
Glove box.... No
Center council....No
Windshield....No
Behind the back seats...No
Somewhere in the lockable storage?... No

That is the cover for your adaptive cruise control.
When the windshield is dropped down it protects the sensor.

Lol. Most of on this forum know more about this truck then the salesperson we got it from!

Lol... You would think windshield from the picture... But the guy said tool kit cover to me and I told myself, why would they make you drop the windshield to store a tool kit? Lol

Ha Ha Ha, don't ask a salesman. If they don't know they will make something up like they did with the rubber stoppers in the pouch I put my T tops in.

I was looking all over in the Gladiator today trying to figure out what this thing was for. Should have just came here in the first place. Thanks for the info.

Is there a spot where it's supposed to go/can attach, storage-wise, until you need it for the windshield removal?

I don’t know of any specific spot, I just keep mine in the glove box.
