Which Warn winch from the dealer?

I have a Gladiator on order and I wanted to purchase a winch and have it installed by the dealership when my Jeep arrives. I was informed that a Warn Zeon 8S is the only winch that is available through my Jeep dealer?
I wanted a 10S or maybe even a 12S, but I was told that wasn't an option?

8S is underpowered for the JT. Recommend a 10k rated winch.

You would probably be ok with a 8k winch, the rule of thumb is vehicle weight x 1.5. Most people would recommend a 10k winch though. The only tradeoff with the higher rates winches is that they generally have lower no-load line speeds.

10k or 12k should be the benchmark, 8k is just not enough. I have a Warn 12k on the way. Buy more than you need and you will never need more.

8k will leave you needing to use a snatch block every time.

This will cut your line speed in half but double the power.

I’d recommend 10k, too. Seems like 9k and the 9500 have fallen out of style.

Order it else where if you'd like to save 4-500 bucks . Amazon way cheaper. Get the 10s with the 90 degree lever. Or you will have to trim your bumper
