Who else doesn't care for the red dash on the Rubicon?

I bought a Firecracker Red Rubicon with the tan leather seats and so the dash is black. I like that so much better than the red dash Something about that dull metallic red that looks off over that large of an area. I like it down on the lockers switch but the dash not so much.

I also prefer the tan seats over the black too. I know it's all personal tastes but that is just me.

I LOVE my red dash. It's different from the norm and I constantly get compliments on it. But I'm glad Jeep offers the option for both colors so everybody's stuff doesn't look the same. I like the gray dash as well.

The red dash has grown on me a bit. Still wouldn't want it with certain colors, though. Blue, for example . . .

Put me in the 'Don't care for it' camp - it dates the vehicle before it even leaves the lot, just like the red stitching.
Changing the dash color will be among the first things I do when I get mine.

I'm hoping by the time I can order a JT that there will be some aftermarket way to change the color. I like cloth seats so I have a hard time spending the extra cash just for a different color dash.

Someone on this forum has already posted part numbers for replacement panels...gray or the ones for the Overland. So they are available. Personally, I didn't think I would like it. But I figured I would try to embrace it...so I ordered red Bartact visor covers. It's growing on me.

This. So much so that I ordered the Tan leather just to get rid of the dash. I mean, the Tan leather is nice anyways though, but yea, screw that red dash. Why not just color match it to the exterior of the vehicle. its friggen plastic, shouldn't be that hard. Plus, it's not even firecracker red, its like a metallic off red. Bad Move by FCA
