I find social media really useful for staying connected with the off-road and Jeep communities. Platforms like Instagram and YouTube are great for following trail guides, build inspirations, and even quick fixes. Reddit also has some solid threads for troubleshooting and mods. It’s cool how these platforms bring enthusiasts together, but I agree — it can get overwhelming. I try to stick to specific groups or hashtags to avoid the clutter.My vote goes to this forum and Reddit.

Me too, great way to find new things to do and events to attend as well. I stick to insta because I don't create too much video content, (yet?) so Tiktok doesn't do me much good nor does youtube. We'll see if I can start adding different content types.

I keep going back and forth if I want to put effort into media platforms or not. A buddy and I were thinking of starting a podcast for overlanding, backpacking, kayaking, snowshoeing... all the outdoors things we do, but we just haven't committed yet knowing how much work it is and how difficult it is today to gain traction with how many other creators are out there. I have a few friend that are known creators/podcasters/group owners and lately they've been pretty frustrated with it all. Too many posers, too many folks just looking for free stuff, too many creators that just want to spam your pages for followers but never interact in any other way. Maybe hearing their frustrations is what is causing me to be hesitant to start something.

Now that I'm done being a debbie downer lol, I started an IG page for my adventures and Jeep related stuff, @ JTdiRtyD. Warthog I added you earlier today.

Followed you back! It is hard. Just starting at the bottom and trying to build organically. I'm trying to make it a legit business, but in the mean time, I can at least write off the upgrades as business expenses. Doesn't make it 100% better, but it does help a little

I track on a few forums and watch numerous u tube feeds, I actually registered a U-tube account years ago but never got it going. Deployments, then conflicting with employment ect ect. Had to do the pay the bills work vs long shot. Plus I've got looks for radio, voice for newspaper and spelling for an actor. As charming as a water moccasin.
