I was hoping that was a part of proximity lock and unlock, but nope. You have to hit the button on the door if you have proximity OR hit the button on the remote.

People Work?
No, but there's a button at the tip of your thumb as you open the door. Press it after the door is opened and it will magically lock when you close it.

I was wondering how it did that - it's magic? Hmmm, guess my theory of magnets and electronics goes out the window.

And really, for a truck aimed at off-roading, etc. - it's pretty amazing.

It ain't a Tesla.

I guess pressing a button on a fob, on the door handle, or using your phone to lock it is pretty difficult these days.

We always look forward to replies like, ShadowsPapa, shows the kind of help people avoid.
Old enough to remember when jeeps had no electronic options? It was the past. Please try living in this century.

The first few times I saw posts from Shadowpapa I was thinking maybe the responses were jokes…then I realized holy shit he might be serious. Now I just sit back and marvel at this miserable persons life playing out on a Gladiator forum as an oblivious Troll.

Maybe his snowflake approach would be coddled a tad more on a CJ forum when discussing crank windows

You both fail to realize that your opinions on anyone on the internet are useless, it’s pixels, we don’t care what you think. Grow up, if you don’t like someone’s response, move on. Simple enough.
So true, so true;) almost left that at just so true…that you for caring enough to point out you don’t care.

Reminds me of when we used to first unlock with a key, then hold handle and push in with thumb to open door. Get in, roll down window to let the damn heat out. Properly pump pedal without flooding…loved those days….
