Hi all. New to the Gladiator platform but not Jeeps. I’ve been driving wranglers for the past 20 years. The JT’s predecessors were:

2000-2009 | 1993 YJ Sport

2007-2014 | 2007 JKU Sahara

2014-2019 | 2015 JKU Willys Edition

2019-2021 | 2017 JK Hard Rock Edition

Now onto a 2021 Willys Edition. Look forward to getting started on this build

Cheers,
Drew

It's your Jeep ownership resume! I have a similar one.
I just ordered a Willys so hopefully, I can add that to the list of Jeeps soon too.

Lol, I never thought of it that way!
That list is updated much more than my resume so what does that say about my priorities...

First addition is done. Since I bought this as stripped down as possible, a tonneau cover was high up on the to do list. At $225, my initial impression is I’m pleased. It may eventually turn into “you get what you pay for” but for now, it fits my needs.

Just waiting on lug nuts and I’ll finally be able to decide if I can be content with a budget boost and 35s or if I need to go down the rabbit hole of 37s and more lift.

Tough decision. I'm planning on sticking with 35's even after I lift it 2.5-3" (hopefully next week), simply because I don't want to regear, and we plan on traveling to different trails up and down the east coast, and possibly get out west at some point. But... I do like the look, and added ground clearance of 37's.

Yes, it is a tough decision. I went down the road of 37s w/ 3.73s in my 2nd jk. It was 2.5 years before I went to 5.13s so I don’t know if I’d feel the immediate need to regear or not.

I just finished installing the AEV spacer lift. First test drive was a success. I usually have to tinker with the draglink a few times but it was all good.

so far, driving characteristics are unchanged.

Put my other wheels and tires on today. They stick out quite a bit more than I was anticipating since they weren’t that far out on my jk. They’re only 4.75 BS on a 9” wide wheel. I’ll definitely be switching my stockers on for the first in-state inspection.

I put on a Curt hitch this weekend. Has to be one of the easiest things to install on a Jeep.

It was a bit chilly today but I got my winch and bumper on today. 30 degrees in April is not what I was expecting.

Truck looks awesome!

Jerhemi, That's exactly what I was thinking. Stock wheels with that lift look really good and I usually don't like stockies with a lift.
