This is a tall ask I know... Anyone that has their Jeep with the factory outlet in the bed, can you snap a pic (if you have access to it) of the backside of the outlet? I'm curious about how easy this will be to retrofit, I remember on my old SRT8 for the Euro tail lights all the wiring was already there. I'm wondering if the same holds true on this.

I'm pretty sure the wiring is there. The factory only makes one wiring harness so it speeds up production.

I'm also curious about this.

I read somewhere that the rear outlet uses the same inverter as the interior 120v outlet. Anyone have more details on that?

So far to retrofit with Mopar parts...

We know we need the outlet for the bed and the button in the cab.

The cab and bed outlets share the same 400W so you are limited to 400W/0W through 0W/400W. This is not to say you couldn't add your own and just use the bed mounted connection point.

What are you guys planning to use the outlet for? I'd imagine you can't run a power tool on it, so what exactly are we supposed to do with it?

I bring a PA speaker for college football tailgating. This will power that so I don’t have to bring out the inverter.

It will also power the strobe light for this hitch attachment.

That video was awesome! So that is what that pole is for!

400 watts isn’t going to do anything heavy, but it will run chargers for power tools. I find that very handy.

I’m liking the pole too. I wonder what that package goes for.
