Figured I would post in the event someone could benefit from my research.

There are a few options for wiring that involve splicing into the factory harness but if your like me and don’t want to cut factory harness here is what I found.

Mopar harness kit for the JL #82215382AB will work with some modifications. The kit is actually three harnesses.

1) from driver tail light to passenger tail light.
2) from passenger tail light to engine bay
3) from engine bay to bumper.

The main modification is you need to splice in approx 5 feet into #2 harness, I added 6 feet and it’s about a foot extra so 5 would work.
Second modification is on harness #1 the plugs for marker plate lights are different between JL and JT.

Will need molex plugs #34900-4120 and #34899-4080 with pins #2177610-3 and sockets #7-145267-1
also could use some blanks # 349961902 and # 349961501 I just used silicon to fill empty holes.

Out of the two license plate light plugs the larger one will be replaced by the 34900-4120 smaller one replaced with 34899.

All the parts for #2 harness modification is available from mouser electronics. Be careful crimping pins and sockets onto wire. And double check what pins are what on vehicle. Black is ground on mine.

Harness #3 can be used as is if you want but I cut the pins off and extended it to reach where I mounted my plug on bumper.

I may have forgotten some things but hope this helps someone.
