wiring lighted bug deflector?

I bought the AVS bug deflector with the led strip - where do I connect the wiring? I would like it to come on with the running lights...not real keen on splicing into the headlight wiring...but will if necessary. I have the sport model with no aux buttons... Looking for wiring diagram has been a futile attempt so far - any advice or tips would be appreciated
