I am in the same situation. Been eyeing a few project vehicles but that dips into JT funds and time is non existent anymore. Two toddlers and a busy career don't allow much free time lately. Biggest issue is the space to work on a project because I normally do tear downs and get really deep into them and I just don't have the space anymore.

Have a similar '73 J2500 Thriftside on the back burner for a resto, my CJ is stripped to the frame and I've been eyeing LJs. Ohh...the life of a Jeeper.

Had an 04 LJ and it was great. One of my favorite Jeep's that I have owned. If you can find a clean one do it!
