Sounds like a good excuse for a road trip but they dont have any details. I am not familiar with the area? Are there public trails in the area? the event is only 1 day. Need something else to do there to justify the trip.

I hope they post some additional details soon.

I live in the area part time - spring/summer. The entire area is surrounded by state and national forest lands (Nantahala, Pisgah) and it's on the southern end of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. No shortage of adventures for you or the Jeep. I stick to the more tame offroad adventures, but I'm sure someone in the forum or one of the Jeep clubs in the area can point you to some good trails.

I see your profile has a HD pic - Maggie Valley is the premier destination in the Southeast for rides. People bring their bikes from all over the world to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Dragon. Maggie Valley caters to bikers. Do a search and you will see what I'm talking about.

I'm going unless something changes. My son plans on following me up in his JK. The 13th is his birthday.

Looks like the event has been rescheduled to August 1st due to COVID.
