i need info on firewall plugs on the gladiator rubicon, anyone used any on the driver's side
i need to pass a few wires through on the driver's side

Hope these three pics will help.

Front shot from the drivers side looking into engine compartment. The white wire is feed thru a rubber grommet which leads directly into the foot well of the drivers side.

I also use a wire worm (fish stick). I wouldn't even consider trying to do any wiring in a vehicle without one.

did you just drill into the firewall plug from the inside. or do these plugs pull out
It looks like it easier to drill throught the plug from driver's side inside

thanks I know where the firewall plug is to install the tether line, just need to know do these pull off or do you drill through them, did the person you bought from buy the blueox brake system or a different idea
I was going to buy the blue ox portable not hard to hook up

I use an RVi3 brake system. In the pictures above, there is a larger plastic plug above the rubber grommet he is pointing out. I removed that plug and drilled a hole in it large enough to pass my breakaway wire and 12v constant hot outlet wires. Used a coat hanger to pass the breakaway wire down, then pulled the socket wires back up. Easy peasy.
