Hey guys, super brand new to the Jeep lineup and just purchased a beautiful Sport S Gobi which should be coming in next month.
To the Q: looking to pinstripe it/add a little flare with stripes and didn’t know how well vinyl holds up. I live in FL and I hunt and fish. It’ll be by the water and smacked by branches a little when I go to my property to hunt. So would straight up painting be the best bet or would vinyl hold up?
I’ve done research on vinyl and it lasts 3-4yrs with sun damage but I’m looking for more than just 3-4yrs. I own a 1987 Dodge Ramcharger with my grandfather being the original owner and the pinstriping is still going strong. I know it sounds like I just answered my own Q but I just don’t know enough about vinyl and would appreciate more input on longevity.
