Do you know if it fits the new version of the bolt fittings in the truck bed? Apparently Mopar changed them so not all bed covers fit all 2020 beds. Just had this issue with the Rugged Ridge cover from Quadratec. My bolt fittings look like the attached.
I actually have the same setup. I went to Home Depot and bought a bolt, washer and nut and taped the nut into an adjustable socket and had my wife hold it between the cab and bed.

My Mopar cover should be here soon, I have the same issue as you with the lack of nut plate. Will let you know.

Not sure where you stand on finding a Tonneau cover, I have the Soft Roll up Mopar Cover I would sell. I am Putting an RSI Smartcap on so will no longer need. I live in Wappingers Falls, NY, about 1.5 hours north. Could always meet in Westchester area.
