I’ve located the XY401A harness above the BCM in the passenger side. It appears to be located all the way up just below the right dash speaker. Does anybody know a good way to cleanly access this harness? Here are a few pictures to understand where it is in the cabin.

There’s a wire I’d like to pin. It comes from the F55 fuse for the CVPM. When cars do not have a CVPM from the factory that harness is where the wire stops. I’m installing the CVPM and I’d like to put a wire in pin #2 for provide power…semi factory-like.

Does somebody who has replaced the dash speakers have a pic of what is beneath the passenger side one? That would at least give me a starting point.

In the below picture I have clear access to the retaining clips holding the harness along the fire wall. I just can’t tell if there are more up there holding the harness in place.

I had my hand up there last night. I'm wondering if removing the bmc will get you enough room for your arm to fit. If it was my project I would try that. I'd hate to cause other problems removing the bmc. Static electricity sucks, be careful.

Top of the dash speaker or knee panel dash speaker? If it’s the top one it’ll take you all of 2 minutes to pull that passenger speaker and take a look…

Does anyone have a picture of what it looks like when the red dash is removed in the passenger side above the glove compartment?

Yeah, I saw that one a while ago but they dont have a good still shot of of behind the airbag. Just wondering if that is the way to access the Xy401A. I prefer not to go that route if it doesnt make it possible to get to it. I removed the front top dash speaker and it appears there is a conditioned air tube blocking that route to the harness. Crazy is you can actually see the xy401A in the corner if you look through glove box to the farthest right corner. There is just no way to get a hand in there.

Not sure what I’m looking at in that thread, would you mind helping me? I’ve installed the front trail cam and the CVPM under the center console like in the JL. My very last part of the project is to install the power into the #2 pin in the xy401a. I have the pin I just need to access the harness. FYI currently the CVPM is powered using a fuse tap which is ghetto and I’m a perfectionist.
The timing of this is because I’m adding it to a project that I’m doing which requires me to remove the front passenger seat again. I may even add the front parksense found on ROW JLs and JTs. I enjoy working on my vehicles so don’t shy from difficulty even if there is a non MOPAR aftermarket solution.
