What you specify is true however, Stallantis is assisting these dealers with funding to move the older inventory otherwise, these dealers could not and would not discount as such. Plus, these dealers are getting murdered in dealer flooring costs (dealer inventory financing) with many already approaching north of 400 days and even more with leftover 2023's. Did I mention to all that lot rot should be addressed if acquiring one of these 300-500 day in inventory units? Things like brake rotors, main & aux. batteries, tires starting to age out, look close for possible sun/pollution damaged factory paint, to name a few.too funny, if you are talking about the Corporation, I agree. The Dealership, no way! Invoice is $41,441 Hold back $1212, which most dealers don't count as profit as it is normally used for day-to-day operations. They also don't pay a commission to salespeople on holdback. $6343 rebate. So, they are $6414 under their "cost" if that is real.
