I think this was a mistake on the autotrader posting (or possibly bait and switch). If you go to the dealer's website it's about $11k more. I wish it was that cheap though, I would go out there today and buy it
I inquired about it twice and they replied with a different Jeep at a higher price. I expect that it is long gone. I have found that many of the killer deals remain listed on the web for quite awhile after the vehicle is sold.

May I suggest a quick call or online visit to the FTC & possibly even the state's AG and lodge a complaint if a bait & switch or false advertising is suspected? May not do much good however, it keeps the heat on these unscrupulous dealers.

Just purchased a 2024 Mojave X 3 weeks ago with a 20% factory discount and $6000 from the dealership. Would've never pulled the trigger if not for the rebates. Sticker was $67k, walked out the door for $47K with a trade-in, and went to the bank financing for $38K! Now is the time for Rubicons or Mojaves!

I just picked up a 2024 JT Rubicon at a dealer about an hour and half away from me. Sticker was $65,250 and i got it for $45,004. There were a few 'negotiations' with my trade in. Only had my Willys for 2 years and they paid it off in full today.

Did you have any equity?

Count me in ... I took delivery last week of an Anvil Rubicon X with an MSRP of $69k (no dealer extras) that came with a combined $21k Dealer Discount and National Incentive, and they delivered it for free +400 miles.

I promised my son a car for graduating college on a mechanical engineering scholarship and when I saw these discounts I decided to give him my JKUR, with only 38k miles, and get myself a Rubicon X. Win/Win!

That's incredible to see new JTs go for less than $30K. Keep in mind that price includes a $2,000 "Cooper Trade Bonus" which means they're going to give you $2,000 "extra" for your trade. If you have no trade, you will not get this bonus. If you do have a trade, they're going to appraise it $2K less than normal and then say they're giving you an extra $2K.

I just sat down and played the game on my new 2024 Jeep Beach JT. Got a great deal, but as we all know, most dealers are going to play with the numbers to offer military, conquest, trade-in, etc. sweeteners that you may or may not qualify for.

All that being said, if you want a new Gladiator, now is the time ('24 inventory is quickly drying up).

Edit: I see this dealership has a white Jeep Beach for $39.9K. That's a great price. It's $58K MSRP. Kinda surprised to see a Jeep Beach in Shawnee, OK.
I first check the value of the trade on mine on numerous car sites, KBB, carvana etc., some dealers will say they will give you what like KBB says, but I also went to my dealer who is always offering to buy used ones. That way I know what is going on at the actual purchase..

When they had the Rubicon at the unbelievable price at my dealer on the first Monday in Jan I decided to check things out. I did notice that KBB prices were like four K higher than what the dealer offered. He said the used car market has plummeted over the last month on Gladiators because we are selling new ones so cheap. And he showed me a very good deal they had on a two year old one. He said I'm not going to give you more than I can get... Maybe they will go back up but not now... I said at like 20 bucks a thousand on a payment that blew the deal. I was upside down on a 23 new I paid 43 and financed 34... FOR the deal there at the beginning of Jan 25, they offered 27,500...

They gave me the high side of trade in value which paid it off.
Ok, so no equity. Even though they discounted it $20K, you may still be upside down in a couple of years if no other money was put down. KBB and the others keep track of what average selling prices are, not what MSRP was as that is a mythical number.

But the moment you drive the new one off the lot it's in the same boat as all the used ones, because it's now used as well. This whole market is just shaking out at this point. Jeep grossly overpriced their vehicles. They will have to start aggressively cutting msrp from the factory because the only way they can sell them is at steep, steep discounts. They could have never done this in the first place without those people paying over msrp during the early 2020s, acting like cars and trucks were all of a sudden a rare, appreciating asset.

You're probably right. Should be retiring later this year so I may just pay the thing off and actually go get it stuck for once.

Have been considering an EcoDiesel. Curious what mpg you are getting?
Going off the dash I usually see 20-24 mpg. I’m going to be putting a GDE Tune on it soon so I expect those numbers to Chance for the better.

Thanks for the numbers. That's still quite a bit better than my '20 gasser ... 5-10 mpg better.
