So, I did my first mod today. I put in the rubber Mopar slush mats. I know they aren’t the blacked out ones, but I had a coupon that made these free that expired the day after I ordered these, and this all they had. So, I’m not going to complain.

I also got my Tazer Mini in. I have no use for it just yet, that will change soon.
I’m scheduled to get a spray-in bed liner Monday. Skid plates are on their way as well. Tires will be soon...

Yes, those are stock wheels. The tires are 35/12.5/17 BFG TA KO2s.

I mounted my fire extinguisher that I had in my Rubicon. It’s complete with some paper towel rattle guard. I have no idea if it would rattle, BUT, I am going out tonight and didn’t want to chance it. It’s pretty darn tight, nevertheless, better safe than sorry

So, I am about to have all this stuff put on. I could do it myself, but I have a ton of work related stuff bearing down on me before I leave on my trip, so I have decided to have my local shop put it on…but I should have some mods updates to post late Thursday or Friday…

OK, so I have added some items. I have added the Rock Hard Control Arm skids, front and back, I have added the DV8 bed skids, I have the ASFIR engine and transfer skid plates, and I have added the Apex quick disconnects!

I had a couple of questions relating to your tires.

Any issues with the 35s with no lift? I'm curious about the impact to mpg, throttle response and ride quality.

I was under the impression that you couldn't run 12.5 wide tire on the stock rim. is that not the case?
