100% wheels and tires. I couldn't wait to get the factory wheels and tires off. I laugh and fully understand when I see guys on the way home from the dealership stopping at the tire place. 2nd speaker upgrades.

It’s not anything fun, but the tonneau cover. Gotta keep the stuff in the bed out of the weather.

I haven't done a whole lot to my JTR. It's fully loaded and I've been pretty lazy about doing anything to it for some reason. Since 1990 I've been tinkering with VWs, Toyota trucks and now a couple Jeeps. This is my first automatic ever since I started driving in 1986.

The Quadratec dead pedal is pretty awesome - sounds silly but makes driving more comfortable for the left leg. Having somewhere to jam your foot off-roading going down steep trails is nice and didn't have that in any manual car I ever owned.

I also got one of those wireless adapters for CarPlay and it's at its best for short trips around town. No plugging/unplugging for whatever you want to do with CarPlay. (I'm an Apple fan boy so love using it). Long road trips I plug in of course.

in all the posts, I was surprised that no one commented on the "Your favorite "cant" live without mod" mishap...The mod I "can't" live without is, the spray in bed liner, I would have a bed full of scratches by now with all the stuff I throw i there to go to the dump, and yard waste center........the term cant is used to mean " statements, especially on religious or moral subjects, that are not sincerely believed by the person making them " .....Sorry, my inner writer coming out, and yes there is always one of us around somewhere, lol

It was clear to me that there were no religious aspects to this post and it was a simple spelling error. I primarily use an iPad on this forum and the auto-correct/ auto-complete accuracy is the absolute worst. I fight with it on this site more than any other site or app.

Back to topic, the mod I cain’t (that’s Texan for can NOT) live without would be my RSE power steps. The steps are just ham dandy and the running board width helps to keep road debris off the sides.

This is the one I got and I love it! It doesn’t go all the way to the floor allowing you to still tuck your foot behind it when on a long trip

Sterlite Plastic Storage Cube 9" x 73/4 from WalMart $0.97. It usually has a liner but I took it off for clarity. Lift the seat, place the bin, set the seat down on it. Perfect fit.

Nice! I would love a bigger garbage like that, but apparently the middle one needs a place for their feet... haha. So needy.

I'm just using a small plastic cup looking thing with a spring closure in the cup holder back there. Might have to look at that bigger cube for non kid trips. ?

I feel your pain.

I chose this style because it was so much easier to install than what I have read about with the M.O.R.E.

Although, you do need to bend the installation bracket a bit (I saw a youtube video mentioning it, I think evolving male?). If I had not seen that video about it, I would have been frustrated with the installation.

So I have spent my last year of ownership modding as most do, I have done a lot of OEM swaps, so much so that my boss calls mine a Sporticon. Big mods are

Rubicon take off wheels and mud terrains
Rubicon take off suspension
Mopar steel bumper and steel skid plate
added second rear tow hook
added proximity door locks

Of those mods I think the proximity lock is the one I couldn't be happy going back to stock on. I use it so much and it really makes a difference.

What's your cant live without mod?
