Making its debut at the Chicago Auto Show will be the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave Edition, wearing Jeep’s first Deserted Rated badge!
At the heart of the edition is the Command-Trac four-wheel-drive system with a two-speed transfer case and heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles and a 2.72:1 low range. Crawl ratio is 57.3:1 with the six-speed manual and 52.6:1 for the eight-speed automatic. These crawl ratios may not be as good for slow crawling as the Rubicon’s Rock-Trac four-wheel drive system, but the Gladiator Mojave isn’t about the slow stuff.
