Besides the real world testing that the Jeep Gladiator undergoes when its test prototypes hit the roads and trails, it conducts tons of testing in its facilities. One of the tests the Gladiator has undergone is this torture test (see it in action).
By running the Gladiator on the test rig 24 hours a day, FCA is able simulate 160k miles of use in just 4-6 weeks. In doing so, FCA is able to test how the vehicle components will hold up over time and distance.
