FCA has pulled off the wraps on its all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment platform and it improves greatly upon the current Uconnect 4.
The highlights include customizable interfaces for individual user profiles, new UX (User Experience), more powerful hardware, Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition, dual-phone connectivity, all-new navigation powered by TomTom, over the air maps, 5G wi-fi enabled hardware/software, and much more (see details and images inside) .
FCA has yet to announce exactly when and on which models Uconnect 5 will first launch, but it should start rolling out later this year, and we hope to see it in the Jeep JL Wrangler soon!
