Diode Dynamics SS30 anyone?

I've ordered the @Diode Dynamics SS30 (single - amber - combo). It'll take a couple weeks to get here. I need to uninstall the @ORACLElights Skid Plate lights which were quite functional but 3 of the lights now have moisture inside them and they've stopped turning on (yes it could be a fuse - no I haven't looked - the steel isn't galvanized and rusting and I sanded it down and repainted it but it didn't work - the picture shows the three bulbs on the viewer's right with moisture).

I'm just wondering if anyone that has installed the SS30s has any tips? Aiming? Wiring (I've got the JL300 from Voswitch to wire it into, so I don't need to go through the firewall or anything)? Tricks for the brackets on the bumper? General do's and don't's?

Hey there!

The SS30 is straightforward to install and wire. It comes with universal side brackets that allow for some flexibility in custom mounting.

As for wiring, the bar does include a 2-pin DT pigtail to custom wire to your aftermarket accessories.

If you want to ensure the wiring process is easier, we recommend our Heavy Duty Single Output 2-Pin Offroad Wiring Harness.

This comes with an adaptor to swap the toggle to an aux signal wire, making the installation/connection a breeze!

I finally got the @Diode Dynamics SS30 light bar (amber combo configuration) installed. Removing those nuts on the bumper brackets is not easy. Everything else was a piece of cake. The Voswitch power block made almost all the accessory wiring that comes with the light bar unnecessary. I can't wait for the bad weather!
