Just bought my wife a 2020 Sport. From what I've researched, the Rubicon suspension would be a decent upgrade to her base Sport as far as street handling.

Plans are to level it and put a nice set of wheels and 33"-34" diameter tires on it. It's her daily and it's 95% pavement.

Any low mileage take-offs in Maryland or any with reasonable shipping costs?

Thanks in advance! Love this site already! Tons of info for these JT's.

I'm going to be pulling mine off my Rubicon in the next few weeks. Happy to ship too, though it's from Utah and it's heavy if you want the whole thing. Shocks (which is likely where you'll see the biggest difference) would be a lot cheaper.

Much appreciated! How many miles are on them? How much would you be asking for the springs and shocks?

Do you think Rubicon springs are any better than the base Sport springs? In my mind, I figured doing a complete Rubicon swap would essentially make it ride just like one from the factory and be a decent improvement over what’s on it now? The control arms and end links are the same though, correct?

Any advice and input is greatly appreciated!

From what I understand the shocks and springs are both taller. Results in about 1" of extra height in the rubicons vs a sport. Someone correct me if I'm completely off-base here but that's what I'm gathering from this thread...

When pulled they'll have about 100 miles on them. Just picked up the Jeep and need to get around to pulling everything off for the lift. I'll be asking about $250 for them which seems to be the going rate for the stock rubicon suspension.

Definitely interested for sure. Please, get me a quote on what shipping would be for the shocks and springs to 20619.

I’m in Southern Maryland…near Solomons Island Maryland, Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

You’re about 80 miles from me ( 3hr dtive). I’m willing to meet you somewhere if youd like but id prefer not to travel more than 45mins, maybe an hour.

Or I can probably try and figure out how much it would cost to ship. Since it would probably be less for me since I’m closer

For sure, if it’s not too much trouble to get a shipping quote, I’d appreciate that! Just springs and shocks to keep the cost down.

Have had some awesome guys offer up their take-offs, but it seems shipping is what’s killing this deal. Still holding out for a local deal! Just want the Rubicon shocks and springs.

I too was initially having issues finding local deals. Plus I don’t do Facebook therefore marketplace was out for me. Just be patient though. I literally just score some myself for a forum member on here(being shipped as we speak) But luckily I was able find someone asking $250 and I was able to keep shipping cost right at $50 (possibly due to only being 2 small states away) and I told myself $300 was gonna be my limit regardless shipped or not. So it worked out perfect.

Good luck. There’s plenty out there something will come up close to you.

Thanks Sarge! That’s pretty much my limit as well. I’m hoping I can land a deal soon too!

Sounds great, thank you
Havent had the chance to do the shipping calc yet. sorry, was a very busy weekend. I need to box up and weigh the parts for the shipping quote.

BUT

I can see if my wife/kids want to go to the Baltimore aquarium two weeks from now. We can take a route that runs us through Annapolis and im more than willing to meet you there.

I still need to make sure she's interested but Id be looking at either Oct 2nd or 3rd.
