Yeah, you have to turn off Bluetooth to disable CarPlay while you connect to it, but the Wi-Fi transfer is too slow for my liking anyway, so like you, I pull the card and use a USB-C card reader to download the videos to my phone when I need them.

Yeah same. I used the Mopar one on my 2020 Wrangler for close to 5 years and also put a Mopar one on my 2024 Gladiator and never had any issues with either.
