I'm trying to get the wheel heater/seat heater to go on during autostart. I go into settings and choose that option yet they don't go on during autostart. Anyone run into this? I'm guessing it's user error but I can't figure it out!

Outside temperature must be below 40 degrees Farenheit.

Wow they limited by outside temperature LOL what if I am a candy a$$ who used to live in CA and now in the mid-west who can't handle 42 degs :P

I was wondering the same thing cuz it felt like it worked a few times and then it didn't, that's because the outside temp did dip to 34 a few times this past week. Thanks for the info!

My heated seats and wheel hardly ever turn on automatically. What I've noticed is my ambient temp reading is ALWAYS 10-15* higher than actually air temp at start up. So if it's 32* it reads 42-47* .

Once i pull out of my driveway it starts dropping to the actual temperature and will be fine until the next time.

I'll eventually I get it to the dealer for this but it's low priority for me

Don't have my Gladiator yet, but my Ram 2500 Laramie is the same - outside temp has to be below 40 - which is fine.

It would be "fine" if the ambient temp was accurate

Had the same problem... discovered it’s sensor related, the outside temp has to be below a certain set point, for remote start (box must be checked) wheel & seat heaters to engage. A failsafe so wheel & seat heaters aren’t accidentally engaged in hot weather!
I tried to test system multiple times during high 40s and 50 degree weather... to no avail! Then first cold morning we had, 30s, I remote started... climbed in a few minutes later, and low & behold... both the wheel and seat heaters were activated and cranking! ;{

We've got two that do that, and my truck did that - not as large a difference but it could be several degrees off. It might be 10 out and the vehicles would say 20, for example.
It's like it only reads it every so often or something. I've seen our vehicles take 5 or 10 minutes to actually display the real outside temp.

But if it persists or doesn't eventually catch up - I'd talk to them about it. These are not real-time and when it sits it's not taking the temperature - in the case of our vehicles, it can take a while for it to read and display the right temp.
Still only you know the history - if it remains a problem - talk to the dealer.

On startup, Temp, Tire Pressure, etc... show last reading, until everything resets. (Takes a minute or two.) Note... Seat & Steering heat only remote activates below 40degrees.

I understand at startup makes sense. But has not been over 40 degrees here for weeks. Always starts at 55 no matter what temp is outside. This picture was taken about 5 minutes after starting.
