Found a group on a local 4x4 Facebook page running Bald Mountain last Saturday. Never been to Bald Mountain before and figured it would be a good opportunity to get the JT off asphalt for the first time.
Had about 8 or 9 vehicles in the group, JK's, JL's, Toyotas, a new Bronco and a JT Rubicon.
Trail is perfect for stock Jeeps, probably the limit of what i'd be comfortable doing on the Factory 33's. Decent amount rocks and some deep water, but nothing too crazy. Group made an executive decision to remove the Bronco's running boards, which proved to be worth it later on in the trail. The views were awesome. If you're in the area and are considering going, definitely do. Would love to get a group together and run it again this summer.

Cool pics! I was just up there a couple weekends ago too. It's a little "bushy" through the red section i recorded, and more open (and more fun IMO) through the northern purple section up to the red "loop." Nice little climb at the eastern side of the red loop. Stock 4x4 friendly.

How did the bronco do as far as pinstripes? 😬 my black fenders and mirrors were getting brushed frequently

Hahaha yeah, the long wheelbase line for sure. Definitely a fun trail. Pinstriping was definitely unavoidable. One thing I noticed is that the paint on the Jeep holds up WAY better than the paint on our 2019 4 Runner.

Heres a shot of the bronco doing the same obstical, he had some trouble with open diffs. Really shows how much more articulation we've got even with swaybars connected.

I thought taking a pic here was mandatory.

I try to get out there a couple of times a year. If you go back zap me a message.

That's pretty rough when you're having trouble with traction going downhill lol. Beautiful rig though!

Hahaha yeah if our group was smaller I would have taken the time to get that pic, there were a handful of folks trying to clear it and didnt want to hold up traffic
