I just installed my lift and after a quick drive i parked and took messurments. I know clayton states they take out half the rake but i'm sitting at 2 3/8" rake still. I have double checked everything and its all right and bolts torqued. Thinking a 1" puck up front to help but wasn't sure if...
Looking to level my 2024 Gladiator Sport S (non-Max Tow). I hate squat, so I’d rather keep a slight rake than risk the front sitting higher. Just want it close to level since the stock rake is too much. Goal is to run 285/70R17 with no rubbing at full flex. Thinking maybe a ½” spacer up...
...but nothing has given me a warm fuzzy.
I just bought my JTRD and trying to address the added weight from my gear while still maintaining some rake. End goal is 1-2" lift all around, while maintaining factory rake angle on the daily with winch, decked drawers, and bed rack, without needing to...
Bought 2020 gladiator Sport already lifted, fox shocks and 35's already installed.
rear sits 2 inches higher than front, rear seems too high, can it be lowered? or one must level the front higher?
Thank you
I’ve seen a few posts about rake on our, on any, trucks. I like the look of leveled but I know there is some me reasons for rake. I’ll be putting Clayton 2.5” overland with HD rear springs with Alucab contour canopy, fridge, drawer, and general overland gear. With HD springs is rake still needed...
...to figure out the first few mods. Winch and SmartCap are already ordered. I would like to give just a small amount of lift (maybe) and a little rake in the back as I know I will have heavy loads. I plan on keeping, for now, the stock 17" wheels and putting 35 x 11.5 tires on (I have Mopar...
What is everyone using as the measurement point for rake?
Rubicons have 2” taller fenders- so, measuring ground to fender line? And subtract 2” for rubicon/mojave front fenders?
or are folks measuring ground to frame rail?
This topic came up over the weekend and my JTRD measured exactly the...
Truck sat ass low since I bought it. Cheap ass REI lift and springs....I thought. The cool rake is back after wheeling this weekend.
Still a cheap ass lift, but if I'd known that all the springs needed was a little stretching, I'd have wheeled it sooner. Lol
Hi guys. Looks like a great forum! LOVE the truck. ? My diesel '21 has a rake of 2" measured at the front (lower) than back. .. measured at the fender lip. I want to level it with back.
1. IF I get a 2" spacer, is there anything else that will be affected?? Like alignment, steering...
...Not 100%, but leaning towards KO2's in 37's.
Not interested in how the kit works for Rubicons/Mojaves..
For those with Sports... how is the rake? Does it look decent? What did the kit really measure out at on lift? Did you do 37's? Did you do anything else to bring the front up a tad more?
OK, so about a month ago I put on the AEV spacer lift on my 2021 Willys. Looked great and retained the original rake that the truck had, which works for me, when I tow my boat or pop-up. The issue now is with the Rugged Ridge Arcus front bumper and a Badland Apex winch, the difference in fender...
I currently have a 3.5" MetalCloak lift on my JTR and the jeep has about a 1.5" rake from front to back. I sold the Teraflex leveling kit (regretting now), so now I'm looking to get another one. But my question is, can I use the TF kit in conjunction with my MC lift? I know MC utilizes a coil...
I'm new with JT ... I didn't like the 2" rake but not sure about adding front spacer..... so I experimented with putting about 250 pounds inside tailgate. This leveled the truck and I can remove the weight when I need the room for cargo...
Any thoughts ?
I‘m sure it’s here in the forums “somewhere”, but… 2021 w/ diesel, mopar 2” lift on 37x12.5x17. The front rake drives me crazy every time I see it. Recommendations to bring it up some with having to change out anything major? Thank you In advance.
i am looking at installing the Clayton 2.5 overland plus lift on my diesel gladiator. However, im concerned about there being too much rake for my liking.
anyone with this lift installed on a diesel care to post some pics from the side of the rake?
I’m waiting on my Clayton 2.5” overland + kit for my Rubicon. I know that the Clayton kit leaves some rake and I’d prefer a more level look. I’m looking for pictures and insight from those of you running the kit on a rubicon and what spacer (.5 or 3/4”) you used to achieve level. I currently...
So I just ordered the 2” Mopar lift kit for my Rubicon. I just saw a picture someone posted of their truck and it looks like there is quite a bit of rake. For you guys that have done it, would you recommend the leveling kit in addition to the lift? I really don’t want much rake. Thanks…
...to this forum. I have some mechanical abiltity, I am installing ruby springs and fox shocks on my 2020 sport S and i want to take some of the rake out of the front end. (want a little more space in the wheel well for a set of 285 75 R17 tires) does anyone know if that small amount of lift...
