Don't bother with the hardtop support, it is not needed.
Just and FYI, if you do go with the JCR the top supports line up with the 23Zero mounting rails and you can mount the tent directly to the rack.
I'm sure you could use a roof-rack on the hardtop to mount a RTT, buy it would hang over the front, back, or both. If you can make that work then you would not need the bed rack.
Or are you talking about mounting the RTT on a full rack and having it sit a foot over the hardtop? If so then the...
I like my JCR half rack, but if I do go to a full rack it will probably be the Go Rhino Xtreme Overland rack. If you have not looked at it you should. Tons of good accessories.
If you are using a 4 person RTT you would be better of with the full rack. I have the JCR half rack and my 23Zero 62 inch wide RTT fits fine, but a 72 inch RTT would hang a foot over the back. I'm looking at changing over to a full rack or the RSI SmartCap. I want to add an awning and the...
Warn has them made in Chine and AEV uses an Italian supplier for the Salta XR. I would go with a European supplier over Chines if I were given the choice.
A ton of people are running 12.5 tires on the OEM wheel. You can always run them that way while you wait for the Salta XR's to come in.
Not today, but just got back from a three week trip. On the 18th we ran Imogene from Ouray to Telluride. It was a good day, but I have never seen it so busy.
I have a JTR with the LED light and 8.4 screen options that came with the trail cam installed from the factory. I ordered in August and at the time the only way to get a trail cam was it you also ordered the 8.4 screen.
That $995 is MSRP and most dealers offer it online for $820 to $850. The best I've found is at Socal Mopar at $775.84. Yes, you will still need to pay for a grill guard and winch plate, but if someone likes the steel Jeep bumper it can be had for well under MSRP...
Look like the North Edition will be a winter package to include Cold Weather Group, Hard Top in black, 8.4 inch Touchscreen with NAV, Mopar Trail Rated Kit, Slush Mats, and special badging.
Took the JTR on its first trip. Spent two weeks in Zion NP, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, and Red Rock Canyon NCA.
Canyonlands Shafer Canyon Trail
Arches 4x4 trail to Tower Arch
Red Rock Canyon
When I ordered mine in August the dealer also ordered two JTRs for stock. I picked mine up last week and the dealer told me that the two stock units were still in D status.
I just picked up my JTR yesterday. The only reason I ordered the 8.4" radio/audio group is because when I ordered the truck this group was a requirement when ordering the front trail cam. Even if you're not going with the front trail cam I would suggest getting the 8.4" radio/audio group, it's...
Took delivery yesterday 10/10, ordered 8/24. The first trip will start next weekend and will cover Zion NP, Flagstaff and surrounding forest, and then to Moab before heading home.
Look what arrived at the dealer yesterday. I will be picking it up tomorrow. I will have better photos tomorrow and will try to get some nose to nose examples with a Colorado and Ranger. Small town so one dealer has all three brands on the same lot.
