You right!!
I started the work, after 4 days I smashed a shim. So I called it quits. Took the shop paid their price ( no cheaping out). My only goal was get to done myself. Not about saving the money, since I knew this was not an easy process.
Four days was not enough for me with a full time...
Oooo ok, now it makes, some sense, still that’s was a short run🤔, what shocks you think would be better? Metalcloack? Öhlins (may last a while, but the price is proportional to the lifespan)?
Hi,
In your opinion is transfer or transmission? Foraging the forums it seems to be transfer case related.
I have it when I first shift be into drive or reverse at the beginning of the day, and after a long period of parking. I believe is on the transfer ( I taught mine was transmission before...
A new Crate Hemi 5.7 is
$5,410.00
Mopar Original Crate Hemi
There are some add-ons you will need anyway, is less than 1k in add-ons from Mopar
And Jeep Speed Shop made a video on their channel already talking about the JT kit
Never taught about the transmission chain, @JTGuy also has his money on transmission. In any case, Next week I'll work on my differentials if the knock is there; I found it. If it stops, I've seen it too.
In any case, I'm not worried about it right now.
Thanks
Would the cost of trade/switching cars be less than paying that to AMW4x4 and getting you a brand-new 5.7 HEMI? (Smallest, of course, 6.4, 400, 600, 800, and even>=1k poneys are valid choices)
So I began noticing this clunk lately, after 23K Miles, and had the dealer's 20K service.
So, could it be the crush collar getting loose?
It happens when going from idle to moving forward, or breaking and then accelerating, or reversing and then driving.
Anyone?
Thanks for the feedback.
For me, I'm opting for ARB, since it seems to me a more robust solution. The issue with eLockers appears to have started after 2019, and the quality in the production chain is no longer what it once was.
I agree ARB has leaks from time to time, on hoses, and some...
Thanks @Zachattack50
I'm sold already, it is going to be RD245 for the win. I have studied all the Dana material and their online classes, to do it myself, and even obtained a pinion depth measuring tool. So, I'll do it. Now, it's Locker time. Needs wifey approval and do it.
Thanks !!
I'm setting myself up for some pain. Regear and do the lockers at the same time.
Switches are ready, open that dash on a 2024+ is a pain in the guts, compared to up to 2023, from 2 minutes to almost an hour, removing parts and screws. But is done!
Now, I will install the compressor...
That was my feeling/perception of all I had read and seen so far. Thanks!
The setup is more involved, but the reliability of these lockers is what I'm looking for. I need an off-roader capable of taking me places from groceries and the office to cross the Rubicon and Moab.
