If I had an unlimited budget, I think I would put these on my Mopar A-Pillar light mount brackets.

That is a question impossible to answer on a forum like this, and I should start out by saying this is not legal advice. Laws and requirements vary greatly by jurisdiction and status of the responder. If you have a question about what is legal where you are, you should consult a qualified...
Thanks for the info. I have the BAK Revolver X4 roll-up tonneau that has the built in T-slot. The website says it is compatible with that model, but I will call them to discuss and make sure I get the proper base.
I thought I would bump this post with some information I just came across. Sound Off Signal makes a fitted, inside the windshield light bar for the JL/JT with or without the Adaptive Cruise Control. They make it as a part of their "off road" line with white and amber solid lights...
I have the X4, but it does have the T Slot on the side rails outside the tonneau. I am looking for a solution that fits in those T Slots and is easy on and off, as I don't want a rack all the time. The perfect rack for me would be a height adjustable set of crossbars that could carry a canoe...
I just looked at a major on line retailer that starts with a Q and they are selling what I think is this model for $759.99. How does $550 sound to you? I am assuming we are close enough to one another to meet somewhere and avoid shipping, which I think would be horribly expensive and risky.
I am out in a dove field right now and don’t remember what I was asking. Let me find my notes and get back to you. I still have it and it has been in climate controlled storage.
I always like to wrap up a thread like this. I got the Jeep back and it is fixed, I hope. The ticket said that they had to repair threads to get the bolt in, so that could have been part of it. I hope they did a good job. My main complaint is that they pulled several of the little plastic...
The dealer has had my Jeep 11 days and the saga continues. I was told on Tuesday or Wednesday that one starter bolt was missing and the other was loose. The mechanic had borrowed a bolt from another vehicle and tested mine and all was well. They just needed to order the special bolt that had...
Just got an update from the service writer after waiting a week plus for them to even look at it. He said the mechanic looked at it and one starter bolt was missing and the other was loose. The starter was not engaging the flywheel. He is currently checking to see whether the starter or...
That said, and has been alluded to in other comments, because of that system, you would expect an overbuilt, bulletproof starter. I suspect, though, that like with many other machines, it either dies a quick and horrible death early, or works forever. There was probably some manufacturing...
With the current supply chain issues, it would be comforting for me to know it is a generic unit that goes in 20 different vehicles. I just did a quick parts search and it does seem that it is the same starter for all EcoDiesel engines since 2015. That may help some.
Did a search and did not find any other reports of a starter failure on an EcoDiesel. Mine went out at just over 8000 miles. I had noticed a slightly raspy sound sometimes when it started first thing in the morning. Nothing overly concerning. I always thought Chrysler starters sounded raspy...
Just came across this thread. I have the Mopar Diesel lift on my EcoDiesel Rubicon. No problems at all. Mule is probably just under 3K gross. Need to weigh the boat, but figure it at 4K. No suspension related issues at all You could forget the trailer was behind you.
Pulled my fishing boat for the first time today. I need to weigh it, but estimate it at 4000-5000 total weight. No issues. Dropped To 6th going over the Sidney Sherman Bridge (IH-610 Houston Ship Channel) at 65, but mainly 7-8 with infrequent shifts. Stayed in 8 on flat ground. Trailer has...
