I had a local shop do a 3.5" lift on my 2023 Jeep Mojavie. Sometimes it seems like my shocks are bottoming out going over stuff like speed bumps.
The shop that installed the lift installed shock extensions so I could keep the factory Fox shocks that come with the Mojavie. The shop installed...
An update for anyone visiting this thread.
I'm trying to get the factory geometry as close to factory as possible so,
I installed the Rancho RockGEAR RS62118B Suspension Control Arm Bracket . This video gives a great explanation on the benefits of getting your control geometry back to stock...
It was news to me as well. there is a good post about it here:
(24) Does the spare tire have a TPMS?? | Jeep Gladiator (JT) News, Forum, Community - JeepGladiatorForum.com
Discount tire did balance all 5 tires.
So here is where I'm at, all 5 tires are balanced from Discount tire.
What was originally the spare when I first started is on the left front driver side.
Because the original spare doesn't come from the factory with a TPMS sensor discount tire moved...
One day later and Death Wobble is back. It's not doing it the whole time like it did before. When I'm driving it happens around 50MPH I'll hit a small bump in the road, and it will start the Death Wobble then but then goes away after about 10 seconds or so.
Just got back from Discount tire. They said everything should be good. They road force balanced all 5 tires/wheels and got the TPMS working by switching the spare back.

Purchased brand new Jeep Gladiator Mojave. Had it maybe 3 months and got the lift from a local off-road specialty shop. Looking back, I should have had the dealership install the Mopar lift (hindsight is 20/20).
I take it up to the local Off-road...
My next step is taking it to another shop like mentioned above to have the tires looked at. I don't think he was taking advantage of me as far as trying to get me to buy new tires from his shop. He never tried to sell me on another tire.
Good points MCMXLI, I should have explained what this issue feels like and what the guy at the shop explained was a continuing problem after he fixed the Death Wobble.
I've had no previous experience with "tire hop" this was my first time hearing the term.
For me "tire hop" happens at speed and...
Thanks, Walldo. I've done a bit of research and come across info that mentions "Road Force Balanced". That will be a good cheaper next step before replacing tires.
Right after I got my new 2023 Mojave in March 2023, I had a Rough Country 3" lift installed with 37" BFG K02's, Method MR705 wheels at a local Off-Road shop.
I started having Death Wobble a few months ago. I took the Jeep in to have the Death Wobble repaired last week at a new shop and it had...
