  1. Car and Driver: Would you rather? Gladiator vs GMC Canyon

Agree, I've really enjoyed using my gladiator as a midsized truck and that's the purpose I bought it for. Zero cons where I'm concerned. Haul all kinds of stuff. Those are 4'x9' pontoons. I've hauled mulch, wood, furniture, boats and bunches of other stuff with no problems. Test drove many a...
  2. Anyone move from a fullsize pickup to a Gladiator and regret it?

It's interesting to read the various perspectives. For me going to a Gladiator Mojave was like moving to a Rolls Royce. I'm used to stiffer suspensions, loud induction noises, loud exhausts, and general road noise. I truly feel like I'm driving a Bentley.
  3. Paint warranty?

Looks like solvent pop. If so, then definitely a defect from factory.
  4. Buying a new gladiator.

When everyone who isn't the owner of your possible truck talks about simply adding aftermarket parts (other than very superficial stuff like decals), you the owner better keep in mind possible warranty problems. In general, get what you want if you can afford it.
  5. Jeep Gladiator Gets Record $20K Discount Off MSRP Amid Sales Slump

I bought my 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave a couple weeks ago and it was 12.5% off MSRP. I've read so many different tales on discounts I don't know if I should feel like I got ripped off or if I did ok, not that it really matters at this point. I'm enjoying it and that's all that matters once bought.
  6. My co-workers are asking "what are them ducks for in jeeps"

New to jeep as of a week ago. I had no idea there was a wave or this duck thing. Okey doke. I just use mine to get closer to fishing put-ins, fishing holes, and hauling. stuff.
  7. Dealer add ons $$$$

Agreed. I’ve flown from TN to PA to buy a car and drove the 500 miles home. Absolutely not playing that game. I was lucky in that I didn’t have to battle that on my recent Mojave purchase. No add ons.
  8. Jeep Gladiator - happy owners? seeing scary stuff in the repair forums

Bought my first Jeep (Gladiator Mojave) over a week ago, however, I've been a long time sports car enthusiast. There is something you learn when actively participating in that world, which is that no manufacturer can get production right when dealing with what I'll call "niche" or purpose built...
  9. order a '23 or wait for a '24?

I bought my 2023 Sarge Green Mojave last week. 12.5% off of MSRP, sounds like I could have done a bit better. I had to finance to get the deal but I only financed $14k which I will pay off within three months.
  10. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

Light on details for sure but I like to listen to forum outsiders for two reasons. One, many people buy engine modifications and proclaim how great they are. You know what most don't do? Before and after on properly calibrated dynos, (similar weather conditions would be great to). Most car...
  11. Air releasing noise at startup

My 2023 Mojave purchased this past Friday makes the same noise. I haven't had a chance to investigate. Didn't notice it somehow at the dealership.
  12. JT aftermarket exhausts hardly seem worth it.

New to this Jeep. Not new to modifications on cars. In the car world I reside in, unless you're doing headers back plus a custom dyno tune there isn't anything to be had that is worth the cost of "performance" exhausts. You're paying for noise. Don't fool yourself. Nothing wrong with paying...
  13. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

Thanks for sharing the knowledge. I've got a lot to learn about these trucks.
  14. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

Thanks for sharing. I do all my own work and haven't owned an unmodified vehicle since 2016 plus I'm currently playing catch up on these vehicles. With that said, all of my vehicles were/are sports cars. W204 C63 AMG, Focus ST, E46 M3, and a Mach 1 Mustang. I'm new to the modern truck scene...
  15. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

This is the one I'm most curious about. As a new Jeep owner I was completely surprised by the term. I'll be doing some research into what he said.
  16. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

The trail recon guy wasn't giving the advice, the technician he had on as a guest was. What advice do you disagree with? I'm not being a smart a$$, I'm new to Jeeps so if there is something less than credible drop some knowledge on everyone.
  17. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

According to this one technician, zero engine modifications including intakes. Again, he doesn't feel the cost justifies the gains because the gains are little to non-existent. 15 minutes and 4 seconds he discusses air filters/intake.
  18. Jeep Technician (And Gladiator Owner) Discusses Common Questions and Problems on TrailRecon

As a new Jeep Gladiator owner who is gathering knowledge from various places, including this forum, I found this, while basic, informative. A lot of this is Jeep Wrangler related but nonetheless.... Cliffs 1. Don't modify your 3.6L engine 2. Death Wobble: Steering Stabilizer should be changed...
  19. Gladiator Glamour Shots

First time Jeep owner. Purchased 9/8/2023. Less than 12 hours later I was off trail at my favorite hard to reach river put-in. Jeep did great.
