After I got nowhere with the dealer on the noise, I started using 89. Noise is still occurring after a few months so maybe ill jump to 91 but I feel that is a Band-Aid fix to a larger issue.
Fan starting to kick on extra loud so I have a new reason to take it to the dealer :D
You have a few by you. Lytle Creek, Cleghorn, Santiago peak and Pilot Rock.
We were just up at Lytle Creek this past Sunday. You should join us on Facebook, someone is usually up to something and you can always tag along! http://socaljeepgladiatorowners.com/
Took my truck in today for the first go at it. The service rep brought up fuel type and oil changes. We will see what they come back with after the tech looks it over.
Thank you! I am using the terraflex 1.5" upfront. I got lazy and skipped the rubi springs in back. I plan to tackle that soon. When I do that I will post the differences here.
This was the front end: (Left spring is from rubi)

@SteveInOrlando I am referencing the DRLs on the fender.
I have been looking through some other forums. Found this one: https://www.wranglerforum.com/threads/predetonation-fix-3-6-pentastar.924313/

I appreciate the break down on this. Is this noise a “normal” thing caused by detonation?
I better get my trucks noise logged before it too late then.
How much time has the truck been in the dealers possession as they have been troubleshooting this problem?
So I am not the only one... I heard this noise a few weeks back and its been driving me crazy!! Haven't had time to take it in to a dealer but plan to. It sounds like the drive shaft is rattling or something. I am currently at 7700 miles.
