So went to install this kit today and ran into an issue right off the bat. Didn't notice it at first, but my unlocked ECM has half of the plug lock pins sheared off. This keeps the socket from locking in place correctly.. Looks like the GPEC backshell needs at least two pins for the locks to...
Selling our LE wheels and tires as a set, and that includes the spare (and TPMS sensors). Tires have about 650 miles on them, so plenty of tread. Attaching the one picture I have at the moment, but will get more this week as time allows. Asking $1000, as is (great shape), where is - near...
Found this issue as well, been waiting for the window to come in since February. Was hoping it was going to be here by now, as it looks like it is starting to discolor the plastic. Just going to weatherstrip it for now at this point, I don't need any more damage to the Jeep/contents.
Roger that, and will definitely try to get clarification on how the tune accounts for octane and post up for record. Earlier in this post TrailRax did get two different dyno sheets from Edelbrock for the different octane ratings and that seems to go along with their verbiage in their...
Thanks TrailRax - and thanks for the 411 on how things are going with the SC on your Gladiator! I've been thinking about this and probably need to hit up Edelbrock because I have some more questions after reading through the directions (which are updated vs what's out on their site to DL)...
Well, this showed up today...
So...
One thing I was wondering for anyone who might read this and picked up a spare ECM/PCM for their install... Edelbrock has some info that needs read off the ECM, namely the OS for tune purposes. If I get a used spare ECM and send that in to them, would I...
Has anyone else installed an Edelbrock SC on a Gladiator yet besides Trailrax? Seesawing back and forth between the Maggie and this, and was looking for more feedback on driveability. I tried to see if there was an updated dyno sheet for the JT from Edelbrock today and for some strange reason...
That's my bad if this has already been done then. When I bought my gears for the Rubi, the vendor (not giving out names here) specifically asked if I had the Rubi and told me the carriers/housings were different and took a different set of gears. Not sure if they were thinking JL vs JT, or maybe...
Was just browsing through threads this AM and I didn't see anyone say this here, but Rubi gears won't fit your axles unless you have the Max Tow (in which case you'd already have 4:10's). If someone already said that, my bad. If you're hellbent to pick some up anyway, I have a set of 4:10's...
Did that on my last Ram for towing our camper; we could adjust air pressure for whatever was in the bed/on the tongue and like you said it worked great!
I've been on many forums and haven't really seen a moderator behave that way unless someone was poking at them. Kind of seems like this person might be better off on another Jeep forum that likes to treat their members like crap.
Trying to talk the CFO into going, so we will see. Might have to grease the skids a little and get the deal going by adding a possible stop at East Branch Brewing Company or Iron Hill Brewery :beer::like:
