First time Jeep owner here but agree with you about how easy they have made it to go naked. Took everything off this weekend and got way more compliments than I ever do with doors and top on lol.
I bought these door hinge pin guides. They are a low cost solution to removing the doors. I...
I have the 4:10s and to be honest its not as bad as people may think. Now dont get me wrong the truck is noticeably more sluggish than stock and mpgs took a hit (from 18 to 16) by going to 37s. Now where the regear would be urgent for me would be routine towing or traveling roads with elevation...
Im on 37s on a Sport and dont have any issues on basic camping trails, daily driving, and construction sites. However I am adding 2.5+ inches as I hope to tackle a bit more complex trails. For a Rubicon I would recommend at least a 1 inch spacer to play it safe unless you are aiming at more...
Can only speak from my experience but with the 4:10 gears (max tow) 35s were no issue. Was getting 17+mpg and did not feel it was underpowered any. Its my daily mule and travel throughout Texas for work so plenty of mixed driving.
Not cheap but here an option:

Great looking rig. Though not the most functional I do like the look of the Glads on 37s with no lift. Look forward to your feedback about the AEV Lift as that is the route I am interested in going with.
I noticed that I have more noise after the servicing was done for the steering box upgrade. However I would say mine is more of a groan than squeal. Made the steering much more responsive in my experience.
Located in DFW Area. These were used for about 2-months until I bumped up to 37s. They have 16/32 which is the same tread as new, no patches or damage. Will include 4 oem Gladiator Sport wheels with price but no TPS. They sell for $600 total so asking $525 obo.
Between the top of the tire and the inner part of the fender i have about 5-6 inches of space and from side to side i have maybe about 1/2 an in inch of space. I wont be hitting any trails like until the spacer/lift is installed but was curious how well these would fit.
Great build and also welcome to the Gobi family! Did you paint the dash inserts or were they purchased somewhere? Those small touches definitely spruce up the interior.
Between 19-20 mpg stock Max Tow S Sport. I try and drive pretty conservative and when I am on the highway I hit the Cruise Control at 70 mph. About 70% highway.
