Metalcloak ās JL/JT Front Bumper base and winch plate along with the 46ā crawler caps.
Installed this on my brotherās gladiator. Heās just saving up now for lights and winch, figured Iād share some pictures with dimensions if any was curious since I donāt see these around much.
I was on Bluetooth talking on phone parked and turned off the truck it disconnected and I thought it was just timed out thought nothing of it.
This morning radio and screen completely dead wonāt turn on. No reverse camera. But all my hvac controls still work. Anyone else experience this at...
Sharing another issue I have with universal mounts that donāt fit like we wish they would.
Only two slot can line up with the frontrunner slats since theyāre not adjustable. So Iām making sandwich plates that will go from under the slats and the mounts will pull from there to give it 4 mounting...
Iāve been tinkering with making my own rear bumper, but for $406 shipped after tax this might just be the route I go. I could always cut into this bumper and mod it vs trying to make all the pieces to my own bumper.
Alright here we goā¦. Pack of card stock to make puzzle pieces. This def wonāt be a quick process. Taking a few ideas from various other bumpers. I know I donāt want a wrap around bumper but I also donāt want it looking out of place. So we shall see. If it turns out decent Iāll offer it up as a...
I was on one of those initial group buys when these first came out. They had issues yes. I was patient and theyāve been working great, look great and bright reverse lights. Loved em! But now Iām out of the warranty window by about 4 months. Iāll contact them to see what theyāll offer if...
I ended up swapping out to heavier and taller springs and shocks since went a whole different route with the Gladiator (steel bumper, winch, skids, rsi cap, rack, awning, water tank, gear , etc) . If your goal is to added a bunch of weight these are not for you.
I will include the front and...
I was in need of new rear links but couldnāt justify spending almost $200 on link and reinforcement plates to the factory frame mounts so I opted for the teraflex. I couldnāt find much feedback on it compared to the rock jock antirock rear setup. But at half the cost Iām happy with the Teraflex...
Iām removing my AEV spacer kit and going with Clayton/Dobinson combo of springs which puts me around 3ā of lift. In doing so Iām removing the carrier bearing spacers from AEV and sold with the kit, those spacers equal about 1.1ā thick.
Clayton doesnāt offer a driveline spacer with their setup...
So after about a year or so I can really notice my front sagging with bumper and winch. Even with the rsi cap, rack, awning and water tank at the rear. I did get falcon 3.3 shocks too but I like to see each result and will put shocks on after I run just the springs or I might just do the shocks...
I was making a left turn at the green light, my normal daily commute, approx 20-30mph acceleration id guess. Then bam I thought my wheel was falling off. Such a loud thump thump thump thump sound and yes the steering wheel was tough to hold. I was going to slow down but couldnāt with other cars...
Found a deal on Amazon and got it for less than $300. Might as well try it and easy to return with Amazon if itās not what I thought it to be. For the price itās not worth my time doing a DIY setup
I figured better to post a separate thread on this rather than spread throughout the 100+ RSI page.
As with other brands similar, the factory mounting brackets wonāt work without spacers. I sourced my own hardware and have reinforced rubber strips I cut to length and used a hole saw to make the...
