Itās not really hard for LPRs to read your plate - itās only that way for us stupid humans with our brains that play tricks on us. Image recognition for a fixed font letter is not going to be fooled by the computer āmentallyā filling in what it expects to see.
Phhht - I ran a homemade shade for several years and never had any problems at speed. Granted this was a 3.8 JK with the crap 4spd, so itās unkikely I actually spent much time at 85, but the point remains - speed aināt an issue unless your shade is so loose itād smack you in the head anyway.
Well mostly itās that thereās nothing to āget away withā. Cops donāt scale non-commercial trucks, and states that have safety inspections donāt scale the vehicles with all 4 passengers and gear loaded in them and compare that to the door plate.
While most states do have penalties for driving...
Oh yeah, itās also worth noting that L track is what they use in the top of the Decked drawers, so if youāre thinking of getting those, L track will give you a single standard for compatibility on all of your tie down points.
Core Trax, Anchortrax, and VersaTrack are all basically L track with brand names and marketing. Itās probably a lot cheaper, and definitely more flexible to just buy your own L track and accessories.
A great example are those L track tie down straps from the company that @ACAD_Cowboy linked...
You know, seeing this thread pop back up reminds me of just how annoyed I am that some long-term, good forum members were treated like crap for doubting the 7k government orders (err was that 60k? No wait..) and other rumors started in this thread. Near as I can tell, none of it came true, and...
Way to prove him right. You donāt just show up, claim that āall chicks gotta goā then claim that long-time forum members should be the ones to leave. Itās pretty obvious to me and likely most of the others here that you arenāt the kind of person we want on this forum. Iām not gonna tell you...
No. No itās not. The base model JL has the same crappy lack of features as the JK did - Jeep didnāt add any features to the sport that werenāt on the JK X/sport, they just raised the price. Itās ridiculous that a 15k car can have CarPlay, power locks and windows, and air conditioning, but a...
The PiƱa Colada song does not have the same effect based on the number of times i had to towel off my JKU interior.
BTW - a beach towel or 2 is absolutely the #1 Jeep accessory for me, used it so very very often.
Every single one of your concerns screams āi want/need a full size truckā, and really has nothing to do with the gladiator at all. Itād be like shopping for work boots vs flip-flops. I know Iād rather wear flip-flops every day but if my lifestyle dictates work boots, Iām at the Ariat store, not...
Aside from your *ahem* interesting choice in body color, this looks amazeballs. Half doors, safari roof, sick retro graphics, and a surfboard - theyād sell the *S* out of these!
Hah - we have winter, we just get to drive home from it when weāre done playing in the snow! Itās only a 2.5 hour drive to a 6000ā elevation winter wonderland. And far less than that to the beach...
