There are several on FB, but when looking at the pictures they are piled on top of each other or sitting in the weeds next to a garage. I’m looking for a “take-off” piece if I can find one.
Sure, I don’t want to. I want to keep it stock.
I have a race prep and fabrication shop. I build tube chassis race car components, roll bars and roll cages all day every day. I can easily build my own bumper for the truck as I’ve done on my other vehicles. This truck is brand new and I’m...
Someone was nice enough to do this to my rear bumper today. No note and nobody waited around to talk to me about it. So, looks like i need to find myself another stock Sport rear bumper. Anybody have one for sale near northeast PA? I’m willing to drive a few hours for a perfect one if there...
Looking for a set of stock take-off Bridgestone Dueler HT’s. I commute quite a bit with my Gladiator and the tires that I currently have work just fine for me. Anyone take off their stock tires for something larger or more aggressive? Would prefer close to eastern PA, NJ or NY. Let me know if...
I’ve had a SnowSport plow for 23 years! Same mount, same plow! How many other plows are out there still being used after that long? It’s been used on 6 different vehicles and friends borrow it all the time. Back in the day I paid $750 for it brand new. Best investment ever! Will be adding a...
A bit of an update.
I now have 6100 miles on my JT and it’s better than anticipated. We just got back from a short vacation in FL and drove home 1200 miles back to PA. I haven't reset the mileage/MPG screen since I bought it as I want to track the overall MPG. Much to my surprise I saw 22.7mpg...
I also installed LED bulbs in the fog lamps, DRL’s, front turn signals and reverse lights. I just did it last night, so I haven’t driven it yet, but there was a BIG difference in the garage against the wall and garage door.
Foglight...
Rather than doing a bedside rail system or using Uni-Strut, I found small tie-down rings on Amazon and gave them a try. Under $20 and I now have 12 places to connect straps or bungee cords in the bed. I located and drilled the bedliner, then used a fender washer against the bedliner to cover the...
Thought I’d offer my perspective on purchasing a Gladiator. For the last 20 years I’ve owned and DD 1/2 and 3/4 ton pickup trucks. It was a necessity for working around our houses, commercial buildings and towing lots of “stuff”. We sold a few properties, so I no longer have a need to haul...
Had an F250, Tundra and just sold my Ram 1500. All full size trucks for doing full-size truck things. We just paved the driveway to the house and added a bunch of stacked stone walls down by the house/garage. It’s a bit more confined/tighter turning around now.We also sold a few properties, so I...
The 2005 Tundra had 274,00 when I sold it and the RAM had 132,000 when I sold it for the Gladiator. Both of those vehicles were maintenance free for all those miles and had 0-rust even though they lived here in PA. Only time will tell for the JT, but if it’s good to me, I’ll be good to it. It...
I will add a few more observations.
- while it certainly isn’t my previous V-8 pickups, when you step on the gas, it easily passes traffic. No com-paints in that department.
- my 4-door pick-ups were TERRIBLE to park in any parking lot, anywhere. The Gladiator is much smaller, narrower and turn...
- Sill protection because I kick them every time I get into the truck.
- Dead pedal because the 3.5 hour trip home from the dealership wasn’t pleasant for my left foot/leg.
- Ceramic coated the day it came home because mud will be easier to wash off.
