But how many of these items get voided when add lift and bigger tires? That is my concern as I really want to upgrade to 35’s and a leveling lift but don’t want everything to wear faster and then not be covered.
Can you give an overall height? This is the exact tire i want and was considering spacer lift but may do mopar for warranty. Want to make sure it fits in garage.
Why would you not take the top and doors off with kids? I take the rope off the Jeep with my twins in the back. My neighbor has car seats in the back of his wrangler with no top or doors (it is a secondary vehicle). If you are that cautious then go Tacoma. As far as the reliability, I have...
You need to know what you want in your next truck. Gladiator has more room, better tech, removable top, more capable off road (depending on situation and modes), and you would be part of the Jeep club. Tacoma has reliability, better fuel efficiency (not by much), and is a lot less expensive...
One thing to consider is that some performance shocks require tuning and also have a low mileage rating before needing service or rebuild. I am interested in this discussion also. I have always like Bilstein on my Toyotas. They are not high performance like some but very affordable and long...
@AZJT - not that you have run this setup for a bit, are you happy with the spacer lift and tire size? What kinda MPG are you getting? Ride comfort still good? This is the same lift and tire size I am thinking on Overland.
Questions for those in the know. Overland model looking to add bigger tires (35 at most). I will not be rock crawling but will being doing some trail riding and beach stuff. I want a good road ride and was just thinking about a spacer lift to fit the tires but worry will lose shock response...
Good looking truck. Sorry I don’t have any actual experience in your concern but only what I have been told and that is not worth much. Really do like what you have don’t though.
I have run BFG KO and KO2 on 3 different trucks and did like the. If I do go for Rubicon wheels I my see if I can get 315/70/17 KO2 in C load to fit on the Overland. Sure I will need a level kit for the front. I usually hit dirt or sand 1 weekend a month. But like I said just trails for...
I have always had AT tires. I can’t stand getting stuck and I have a few times. That 10% of the time I am off road I feel the AT is necessary. I know a lot of people pick up rubicon wheels but I do like the overland wheel. It would be a consideration though. More options in a 17 like some C...
I made this spreadsheet for new tire selection on the Overland. I will do No rock crawling but will do some beach driving, trail riding, ranch and dirt roads for hunting and camping. 90% will be road commuting to and from work 55-60 miles a day. I am leaning towards 275/70/18 Wildpeaks based...
All my tires come from @Discount Tire with certificates. They replaced all 4 of my wife’s tires when she drove through a construction site and got flats for free because of the certificates. Awesome company
I really like the overland rims and wish to keep vs spending on new rims. Looking like 285/75/18 are closes size to fit the rim and not need lift. Yet those are load E in the two main tires I like. KO2 and Wildpeak
whenever I search for larger tires people keep saying to get C rated tires. Yet all I see is E rated tires in 33 and up AT tires. What tires come in 35 with 18R yet are C rated? I don’t see any In an AT pattern. But I am not a tire expert. Help me.
A while back I saw a full width bumper with a winch guard/over ride bar/ grill guard (whatever you want to call it) that had an LED light bar built into the winch guard (not on top or below but in the bar) I have googled like crazy and can’t find it. Anyone know of any and can share the name or...
