While I applaud you on making your own version of these I still feel the D&C lights look cleaner. They have that factory-made look to them. Also I prefer the body paint match. I think you did a nice job and for probably much less money though.
If you get the spray in bedliner after market make sure they dont spray over the holes for the trail rails or you'll have to rethread them.
Definitely get the Aux switches!
I have the Halogen lights and they are just fine for me in the city. I live in Salt Lake I've heard of people getting...
Yours looks pretty waterproof. I have the Bestop and it leaks slightly. Run yours through a carwash with the high pressure washers. (Don't go through the ones with the brushes they will scratch up your windows, so I've heard.)Report back I'd be interested to see how waterproof it is after the...
Honestly I'm not sure. There is a big opening near the cab at the corners( you can see the daylight coming through the corners in the pic) but I don't think it leaked much there. There is an area at the top corner of each side panel where the panel goes from being underneath the canopy to...
I wish they could design it so the topper is under the tonneau cover so when the topper is folded down you could pull the tonneau cover over all of it. Then when you want the topper up you can roll the tonneau up in front of the topper between the truck and topper. Anyway I'm happy with my...
I love my Supertop. It leaks but not bad. Mine fits great. I have the black diamond fabric but I wish I paid more for the twill it's just way nicer fabric. Here are some pics of mine. The Supertop is about 5 months old in these pics I mostly park it in a garage. I have no issue of it coming...
I have some more pics of my Bestop Supertop for truck 2. I took them today. I've had it for 5 months or so now and I really like it. I park it in the garage mostly but I have no wind noise or anything. It does leak in heavy rain and car washes but it's not bad just leaks on the sides and drips...
Yeah I reached out to them and they told me they are aware of the problem and when they fix it they will send me the new version for free. You might want to reach out to them.
I have this same supertop and mine looks much better.(I'll see if I have any good pics or not.) Did you double check the measurements of the rail spacing? It seems your back crossbar is too far forward. I'm not sure what's going on here but it looks like it may be installed wrong. (sorry not the...
I have a review of the tonneau cover for the supertop here:

So I should look for 87 e10? That might help? Or if there is such a thing as 88 e10 go with that. ? I’m sure it's super scientific as to why but can you explain what e10 and e15 mean in layman's terms?
I don't know, I think they are universal but honestly I don't know what those mean. I just know I can't use 85. I'm in Salt Lake City, UT and every gas station has 85 and 87 or 88 and 93
Thank you for this. Those seem to be the same numbers I've been getting. I've noticed between 40-70 mph it gets much better mpg. I'm in Salt Lake City and everyone goes 80 mph on the freeways. In the city it's stop and go. So I think I'm just missing those best mpg ranges. Every once in a while...
Financially you are right. You finance at a lower rate than you make in other investments then you come out ahead, no brainer. Whether or not the asset is depreciating is irrelevant because if you paid cash for it, it's still depreciating either way.
Buuuut it depends on your risk tolerance...
People told me it would get better after 5k miles for the engine to break in but for me it didn't actually it went down 1 mpg but I think that has to do with it being wintertime more than anything else.
I'm getting 14 mpg too in the winter, in the summer ~15 mpg on my stock Rubicon. I drive it...
