Agreed! I have a few air options put together as well as a mounting plate for a diesel heater. Mount the heater and run exhaust and intake outside.

I have a few different things designed that can fit in this area. One issue is that it’s only 70 mm deep so there’s really not much space for a compartment to be very useful. The other is the cost to make the pieces that sit in there. With the amount of space that would be gained I’m not sure...
Making a few mods to my door latch as I need more clearance for something else I am designing for the door. Made a quick test print for a push knob to unlatch the door.
I have these brackets available that may be helpful. As long as the mounting studs are still there they should bolt in place with no issue.
